The outer shell is a water repellent Nylon Coating, The Lining is made from a quilted polyester and Nylon, making this jacket an ideal Choice for keeping you warm. The knitted waistband and cuffs are designed in such a way to help keep the warmth inside and prevent the heat from escaping. This jacket Has the iconic remove before flight tag on the Left sleeve pocket and also comes with two pockets placed high on the front of the jacket. This jacket is designed for use in the cold weather climates (as cold as -5 degrees) and is still being issued to the United States Air Force to this day, The CWU 45 replaced the MA-1 bomber jacket in 1977 and has been going strong ever since.

After the movie after Tom Cruise wore this jacket in the movie Top Gun in 1986, This jacket became very sought after and very iconic and has been a popular choice ever since.
