Armed Services in 1965 as a replacement for the M-51 field coat. The M-65 represented the culmination of field coat design, drawing on the technological developments of the M-43 and M-51 field coats used in WWII and Korea. The M-65 also used the covered zipper and snap front closure from the M-51 that allowed soldiers to crawl on their stomachs without the jacket opening and snagging on obstacles. Initially a contractor to the United States military, it is fair to say they know a thing or two about military garb.

This is a rare vintage Trebark Camo M-65 jacket with a great well worn look and a heavy duty Scovill brass front zipper. Made in USA, this is an iconic field jacket.

Used and in fair to good vintage condition with general signs of wear, discolouration/ marks, and abrasion throughout. There is bobbling to the fabric. Freshly laundered and ready for its new owner.
