Vintage L-2B Cold Weather Jacket. These are the old U. When they designed this model the pilots were smaller built. ALPHA IS A MILITARY CONTRACTOR FOR JACKETS. This is the American made Alpha jacket. Knit Collar, Waistband, and Cuffs.

The L-2 was introduced in the early 50's and in use up through the 1980's. The lightweight L-2 was developed for Cool Weather Climates (50 Degrees Fahrenheit). Features included 100% wool knit collar, waistband and cuffs, a tab that the oxygen mask was clipped to, the original U.
